Celebrating leadership, innovation, and impact in active transportation
Honoring Progress Toward Safer Streets
The Wheel of Achievement Awards celebrates projects, advocacy efforts, and champions who are advancing safer, more connected walking, biking, and rolling communities across Florida. This signature Bike/Walk Central Florida event shines a spotlight on the people and initiatives making meaningful improvements to streets, trails, and neighborhoods, helping create places that are healthier, more accessible, and safer for everyone.
Through this event, we honor leadership and innovation in active transportation, including impactful advocacy, policy leadership, community engagement, and thoughtful design and infrastructure. Award recipients are selected by a panel of experienced transportation, planning, and advocacy professionals who recognize the real-world challenges faced while making progress to transform our streets and communities.
